WANG – Organizational Structure

WANG (Welfare Association for New Generation) operates with a dynamic and efficient organizational structure designed to optimize resource allocation, decision-making, and program implementation. Our structure reflects our commitment to transparency, accountability, and inclusivity.

1. Board of Directors

  • Role: The Board of Directors is the governing body of WANG, responsible for setting strategic direction, ensuring financial accountability, and overseeing organizational policies.
  • Composition: The Board comprises experienced professionals from diverse fields, including development, education, environmental sustainability, and gender equality.

2. Executive Team

  • Role: Led by the Executive Director, the Executive Team is tasked with day-to-day management, implementing board decisions, and overseeing program execution.
  • Composition: Includes the Executive Director, Program Directors, and Heads of various departments like Finance, Human Resources, and Communications.

3. Program Management

  • Role: Responsible for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of WANG’s diverse programs. Ensures alignment with organizational goals and effective use of resources.
  • Composition: Program Managers and Coordinators, supported by field staff and volunteers. Each program area (Youth Development, Climate Action, Digital Inclusion, etc.) has dedicated teams.

4. Finance and Administration

  • Role: Manages WANG’s financial operations, ensuring transparency and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Oversees administrative functions and resource management.
  • Composition: Includes finance officers, accountants, and administrative staff.

5. Human Resources

  • Role: Focuses on talent acquisition, staff development, performance management, and creating a productive work environment.
  • Composition: HR Manager and supporting staff.

6. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL)

  • Role: Ensures the effectiveness and impact of programs through rigorous monitoring and evaluation. Facilitates learning and adaptation across the organization.
  • Composition: MEL specialists and data analysts.

7. Communications and Advocacy

  • Role: Manages external communications, public relations, and advocacy campaigns to raise awareness of WANG’s work and impact.
  • Composition: Communication officers, content creators, and media liaisons.

8. Community Engagement and Partnerships

  • Role: Builds and maintains relationships with community stakeholders, partners, and donors. Facilitates community involvement and collaboration.
  • Composition: Community engagement officers and partnership coordinators.

9. Volunteer and Youth Engagement

  • Role: Coordinates volunteer activities and youth engagement programs, ensuring active participation and capacity building of young volunteers.
  • Composition: Volunteer coordinators and youth program officers.
