WANG’s Response to the Lasbela Floods

The recent floods in Lasbela, Balochistan, represent a historic disaster, severely impacting thousands of lives and leaving communities in dire need of assistance. In these challenging times, WANG has been at the forefront of rescue and relief operations.

The Crisis: With Lasbela cut off from the outside world, the district faced unprecedented challenges. The floods, triggered by intense rains, dramatically altered the course of the Porali river, devastating the infrastructure and livelihoods of the rural population in Bela tehsil. The destruction of homes, crops, and livestock has pushed many families towards the brink of poverty.
