Creating An Impact: Our Relief Efforts In The Flood-Affected Community Of Lasbela

Young volunteers have been the backbone of our campaign throughout the time.

The recent flood in Lasbela has had a devastating impact on the community and surrounding region. The heavy rain and flooding, linked to climate change, have caused significant damage to infrastructure, crops, and homes, as well as disrupted accessibility and connectivity. The population has also been left vulnerable to waterborne diseases.

As a non-profit organization, we have been deeply concerned about the situation in Lasbela and have been working tirelessly to provide relief and assistance to those affected by the flood.

Since the beginning of the disaster, we have been actively engaged in rescue, relief, and rehabilitation efforts in the region. To date, we have rescued over 700 families from the floodwaters, providing them with shelter and food. We have also distributed tents and shelters to more than 610 families, ensuring that they have a place to sleep and stay warm.

In addition to providing immediate relief, we are also working on long-term solutions for the affected communities. We are currently building 50 houses for families who have lost their homes and have provided food items to more than 3,453 families.

Volunteers were busy offloading the non-food items at one of the affected village.

We have also organized four medical camps to provide healthcare services to the affected communities, and have distributed 653 dignity kits to help restore dignity to those affected by the flood.

Throughout our efforts, we have been actively updating our donors on the progress of the relief efforts and have received coverage from global media outlets, raising awareness of the crisis and the need for assistance.

The situation in Lasbela is dire, and the needs of the affected communities are great. As a non-profit organization, we are committed to doing all that we can to provide relief and assistance to those in need. We urge the international community to continue to support and raise awareness of the crisis in Lasbela and other areas affected by extreme climate events. Together, we can make a difference and help rebuild the community for a brighter future.

Thanks to all of our donors for your support and trust in our organization. Your generosity has allowed us to make a real impact on the lives of those affected by the flood. We are grateful for your support and will continue to work tirelessly to provide relief and assistance to those in need.
